Leave your PHOTOBUCKET pictures alone!!!

The reason for this rant is this! Every time that I go through an old thread, I'll be reading along and there will be a post stating, here's a before pic! Guess what? IT'S GONE!!! You guys don't realize that, every time you delete a bucket pic.,,it destroys the whole thread that it's in!! just my rant Tank!!

I dont know why you would delete your photobucket pics anyways, I have 208 images and only 4% of available space is taken up.

When I started using photobucket it was just to host something for a site that did not allow attachments. Now that I have it use it way more than I thought. I have a bunch of pics in there and it would be nice to divide them into folders so I can find stuff faster. But if I do it, it will break all the links I've made to the pics. This has kept me from doing it so all the pics I've posted are still intact, it sure sucks for finding stuff though. I'm guessing this is the reason for some of what you are seeing. They aren't deleting pics just dividing into folders.

That was a great thread but unfortunately a lot of pics were deleted from his bucket account... Look what it did!! Thanks John!!! :lol:

Yeah well Roy there has been a time or two the site has "dumped" peoples pictures. Mine for example. Every darn one I had ever posted priour to last year to be exact. I reckon I can understand them not carrying over form the various site change/updates over the years but if you ever read anything from me priour to last year you won't see any pictures.
I still have most if not all on computer or in photo bucket or on U tube, just got "flushed' from site.

Billy worked on this problem to the end and still never did figure out quite what the heck happened. So if you come across some reading and the reference pictures are gone there may be more then one reason.
And yes, it IS annoying.

i have around 1000 pictures in mine from the last 6 or 7 years worth of hosting stuff. fun to look back at all of it. i never delete that crap

My 20 day 200X build from 2008 still has all it's pics alive......

Frustrating is an understatement. Some says, "this is how I made mine fit. You can shorten that another 1" if needed".

I put a lot of pictures on here that I put on photobucket just to share here. So many in fact that I recently had to upgrade my photobucket account to continue posting. I now have to pay a subscription fee, but I didn't want to start deleting to make room. That would have messed up a lot of threads.
