83-84 ATC 250R Swing Arm Bolt's..

As some of you may know i have been hunting down a swing arm bolt for my 83 250r resto and have had no luck till today..a buddy of my brother in laws knows a guy from bcs performance in west springfied ma that had one but would not part with it but he allowed me to take it to a local machine shop to see if i could have one made up..so i brought it down and they are making up two of them for me..i ..i might have half a dozen made if they give me a deal on them just to have them for future builds or if any one needs one they are so hard to find ..let me know..

Pete, I too had several made up from a machinist that owed me a favor. I seized the opportunity and pulled the 84 swingarm bolt from a 84R build (years ago mind you) and they was all gone in days

Another member on here was underway with them but he got checked out early (yamahondaman AKA Ronnie).
From what I recall one side was slightly different to make the machinist's job easier and it still worked just fine. I believe it was the right side,,,
Even though I no longer own a air cooled R I definitely applaud your forward thinking about having a machinist program/and or other wise have a look at producing these.

get a bunch made & sell em on ebay or the 3ww store... or you could go to the other site a.i.r.f.o.o.l.e.r.s.com

Yes i am having 4 made up ..not sure on my cost on them ..if theirs interest in them and people would like one ill have more made up..i don't mind helping some one out with this because i my self took 3 months of looking for one with no luck..

I have been real busy and have not had the time to pick up my swing arm bolt i had made up..for a test fit before they make any more..ill say i am impressed looks like O.E ..they even machined a nut for it..181695
