yamaha 350 warrior. what voltage comes from stator?

2001 yfm350. What should the stator/alternator put out? It seams to only read like 2 voltes.

Seems to me it would need to be slightly over 12v in order to charge the battery or are you talking about the ignition winding? Does it not run?

Sorry. Yes I'm talking about the ignition wires. It think they are ac. They only show 2 to 3 ac volts. It dosent have spark.

Of all the stators I have tested (quite a few), I don't believe I have ever seen a spec for that. The tests I have seen are for resistance.
