Just want to say thanks to Carlos, Ken and rest of BDT motor sports crew for works exhaust.
I have owned 2 other competitor pipes so I am qualified to give my opinion. BDT Wurks Pipe is awesome at Glamis more than enough for Glamis, this thing just keeps revving and it is work to keep front end down.
ESR ATC 5 good pipe also a top end pipe good power.
Paul Turner high rev atc very tame or conservative top end pipe.
Ken Roberts built this custom for me as i wanted a pipe for Glamis or dunes. I was not disappointed at all how bike performed my ATC is for a younger guy she wore me out.182839182840182841182842182843182844 Tuning was done by Kenz Cycle Tech

Its a rare thing to have a great shop like BDT Motorsports on the west coast. They are dedicated to the high performance 2 stroke engine. They also support the 3 wheeler and quad racing scene.
They put their money and their backs into the growth of the sport. This is a treat to have this kind of support.
They have a sponsored race team and will be supporting the west coast race tracks the 2014 season. I bet there is less than 5 shops across the USA who are this dedicated to the growth of 3 wheeler racing.
If you want the best performance products for your 2 stroke, BDT will deliver.

What I understand if you buy a engine from BDT they come off the the price of the pipe. Is this true?

That's what I understand.
I was told $500 if they do the engine.

If thats not stainless you need to get some paint or other coating on there

Hell no! Thats the reason this pipe is just so damn cool!
Just need to keep it oil'd.
I agree that it looks AWESOME like it is, im not trying to knock that, but if left untreated, it will look bad in no time at all. Oil would work but thats pretty high maintenance. I'm not talking "paint it red/white"... I mean something like a high temp clear coat

The funny thing about putting something on pipe Ken Roberts advised me to put olive oil on pipe!

I have found that using WD-40 works pretty well...After riding and cleaning my bike I spray down the engine and the pipe...It will displace all the water and keep it from setting into the metals ...
WD-40 would work as long as everything has cooled off.
Thats not the ken roberts as KING kenny, is it? The one that raced in the 70's and 80's and had special edition RZ350's named after him? He is also known as the only man alive to harness the full power of a TZ750

Thats like taking an M1 Garand and having it nickel plated.

Not the same King Kenny, I asked Rob the exact same question.

I have one of BDT's motors. Motor and carb cost me over $2700, so you're saying they will give you the pipe for $500 if you buy a motor you're talking over $3200. YIKES!

Ok rg97, chill out a little bit. Dont get all ruffeled up. Dont put nothing on those pipes but oil. Keep it simple.
Oh, I like the way you edited my name on your last post, cute. And miraculously I can read. Keep cool, nobody is taking any shots at ya.
