'85 110 engine into an '81 ?

Hopefully a quick question with a quick answer;

Will an 84-85 atc110 engine go straight into the earlier ('81) trikes?

Frame wise and such yes, they will bolt right up no problem. You will have some small differences in electrical, but otherwise its a bolt on swap.

yes it will fit right in. I have 84 cdi motor in a 79 110 frame. I would swap over the entire harness if you have it. just to be safe. However if its an 81 it should have a cdi motor in it already and connections should be the same.
