my latest 350 build

My latest 350 project.the beginning bike pic is decieving because underneath that plastic was a terrible mess and the head was toast on it from a oil filter being install backwards.she purrs like a kitten now.I rebuilt the topend a put a good head on it and it was alive once again!buddy of mine need a motor though so I sold it to him and I'm putting one of my new motors in it to top off the build.I still have to button up a few small things but its practically done now!

Yeah the white headlight is sweet!for me the white plastic has to have the white headlight.I'm not totally hung up on the factory look unless the bike is all original but I rarely find any clutch bikes in the original state they where in.if I had a nice set of OEM plastics I would do a factory restore on one.I bought my first spare headlight on eBay for 60 bucks and it was white and as soon as I put it on my 86 I was hooked.I posted that bike on cl and it has started a craze around my area for the people with white plastic wanting a white headlight.it just looks like that's the way they should have came.I lost some of the red look to it so I did my hubs and my Honda emblem on my triples red.

I don't care for it personally, but I'm a stickler for a close to factory look.


That said, it's yours and you can do what you want with it, and you have since put your own twist on it which is cool. It's always great to see another thumper back up and running so kudos to you!
