CALVMX 3 Wheeler Race Jan 26, 2014 GLEN HELEN RACEWAY Devore, CA

First CALVMX 3 wheeler race of 2014: January 26, 2014 at Glen Helen Raceway.

-Races will be held on the REM track.

-Racing will be structured the same way as most CALVMX events: Practice, riders meeting, racing, lunch, more racing, awards.

-Gates will open at 7am, practice will start around 830am.

-Race fees are $30 for CALVMX members and $35 for non members (membership is not required, but is encouraged)

for first time riders:
-have your bike prepped with a kill switch (tether style preferred, but stock is OK)
-bring your gear (helmet, goggles, gloves, boots, mx pants and jersey, chest protector (optional but highly encouraged)
-lower profile rear tires are recommended. the stock bubble tires will make cornering difficult.
-be sure to ask about where the sign up booth is located!

ya...that second pic was the newest one I had seen. Pretty cool!! Man that would be a dream trip for me to come to California....buy 3 or 4 250r's and sneak in a race or 2 with you fellas!! Looks like you have good turnouts??

Race 1:

What happened to the guy on the air cooled R? It was confusing they were waving the yellow flag which means "slow down" not like the red flag which means "stop". Then it appeared you all headed back to the start line?

????? You saw it exactly like we saw it????? Crazy race! Important thing is that he was OK? Helmet did it's job - he actually crack his helmet, dirt at Glen Helen be hard!

I finally got stopped on the 5th lap with dham in tow. Then rite back to the gate for the restart. We got back to everybody waiting for us. 2 motos back to back. Im glad the restart was only 2 laps.
Short on breath on that one.
