250sx front end swap (I've done homework)

So I've got an 85 sx and a spare 1983 200x front end. I've tried the search key and found a lot of good info
The only thing I'm not sure about is the year that people are using.

I would like to do the front end swap with the 250r front fender. Will the front fender fit on the 83 200x? It sounds like every one is using newer 200x front ends. what generation of 250r fender bolts right on?

I'm putting a 350x front end on my SX project; why waste the time with a 200x front end?

Yes the 250r fender will work.

Have the 85-86R fender, on the 83-85 200X front end on my 85SX right now... Bolts right up... And a 200X headlight cage around my SX headlight...
