I haven't dropped in for along time, but that doesn't mean that I have forgotten about you here. All is well in Idaho. I have some current pictures of my 2-1985 200X's that I'd like to share with those of you that may not have ever seen them. I have had them for a very long time. I ride one per year. I rotate them every other year for my ride. Both sit on block's during the winter every year and they are still totally original. I hope some of you like them
Here they are

Thanks for the remarks.. They are the same speed. They will be around a very long time.. I may post this on the survivor thread so more will see them. I don't think many have looked at this post.

Nice! I should've never sold mine when i did. Still had the original tires after 11 years of ownership. Regrets, regrets. :)

Nice clean trikes you have there, have you owned them for a long time?
The seem well cared for.
Is anyone else seeing double? Time to get my eyesight checked...
Great trikes, amazing survivors.
Your "golf cart" in pic #4 is nice too :D is that a 450R or a 250X?
:welcome: to the site btw

Hey, Long time no see!! We were going through pictures right after Thanksgiving and I ran across those pics you sent me of the railroad trail. We were planning on heading out to your part of the country for Vacation this year, how ever if my New GF can't get off work I may just do something semi locally.

HOWDY!!! Long time no visit with. How ya been? The railroad trail still exists!! We ride it every year.
The trikes I have had since September 2000. Back in 1983, I bought a NEW Big Red and my little brother wore it out in one year, so I traded it off for a brand new 1984 200S and another 1984 brand new Big Red. I kept them until 1992 and sold them since I wasn't riding them. I wish that I had kept them. So I told myself that if the chance ever came to replace them, I would do it. Then rolled around September 2000. A guy moved here from Arizona and brought these 2-200X's. He listed them for sale and I called and his wife told me that they had not been ridden for 7 years. So I went and looked at them and they were in this condition. He was asking $500.00 apiece or $900.00 for both. I offered him $800.00 for both and he took it. They are still in near mint condition.
The golf cart is a 2006 300X I bought it new for my wife. Then 3 years later she bought me a new 2009 300X. So we ride the golf carts and my 12 year old son rides the trike. Only one trike gets ridden a year. The other stays hibernated so I rotate them.
HOWDY, if you ever need info for out here, please contact me at tweetybirdnest@gmail.com. Wife's email address.
Here are a few more pic's. Railroad tunnel and trail, and a cliff next to the famous Snake River here in Idaho.

I have been doing Ok. I got divorced 3 1/2 years ago and after a couple bad relationships later I decided to give up looking. A Pretty young lady in a local store I shopped in started some general conversation almost a year ago. Then last month she ask me out ( She realized I wasn't going to ask her out ).
We have seen each other every day since. She makes me feel like a young man again. Where things go from here remains to be seen, but we have a lot in common.
I know of a local 84 200s that a guy has. He bought it new and before running it he modified the engine to show his work to his customers ( Hi comp piston, cam, exhaust, and carb ). he said it has never seen dirt riding. He has only ran it on the road to race other "Braggers" as he put it. He didn't think it had over 100-150 hours on it.
If you want a 84 200s in great shape let me know and I will find out what his bottom dollar is. I know it is / was for sale as he retired last year and I bought out 95% of his inventory. This guy showed me a few things and I showed him some as well. We both earned each others respect and he gave me a better deal after he realized the passion I have for 3 wheelers ( he prefers them as well ).
If you bought it and wanted I could deliver it. I would use this as a reason to go ahead with my vacation plans. LOL :evil
I doubt I would be able to bring my machines that far. My truck has seen better days and my bank account has as well. LOL Right now I can't afford a used Yugo let alone a truck that I trust to go that far. LOL
FYI, for those who don't know what a Yugo is Google it.

Thanks Jason. I figure that I no matter what is out there in near new condition is worth scooping up. I have had a lot of fun rides on them. I mostly just putt around the Federal Forest roads on them. There are hundreds of miles of them here.
Howdy...Sorry to hear about the divorce....... Been there!! But glad that it happened for me. Life is so wonderful now. I had a woman stop me here in town at a local church, and I'm glad she did. We got married 11 months later.
It would be nice to have you out here to see the area here. I would like to see the 84 200s!! What does he want for it? Picture would be fun to see. I have passed on some very nice trikes over the years only to wish that I had them. I taught my 12 year old son how the hand clutch works this last summer. He drove it on the forests road many times after his lessons.. He thinks he's large now knowing how to ride and clutch them all now. . I really like having the hand clutch models.
If the pictures will load, here are a few more of our hobbies here in Idaho. One picture is before and after of our garage of when I added the Deere sign's that I collect. Does anyone have a Ski Doo sign? I'd like one.
We really love to ride the Honda's (3 & 4 wheelers) around our area. There are so many places to go. In all the years that I have owned the trikes, I have never ridden them in the snow. They are on blocks all winter long with no gas in the carbs. The golf carts have never been in the snow either.

A few more pictures of the railroad trail and also by the Snake River. Notice the tunnel pictures here and the ones posted previous and look at the tunnel picture in the winter of how deep the snow can get.
I hope it's ok to be posting these pictures here Howdy. I thought you all would enjoy them. My son just told me this morning that he can't wait to ride the trikes again.
