I would like to know if a 350x head would fit on a 250 es. I want to get as much power as possible out of my big red. If the 350x head wont fit the 250es than is
there some fat chance that some other vehicle that has a 4 valve head bolt up?

If you could, you would be into some pretty heavy mods... And probably spend as much as if you just bought a 350x.

just curious, why do you think installing a 350x head in your 250 will give you more power?.

first you need to determine the combustion chamber size of your head and the one you want to install.

in general, installing a bigger cc head will lower hp and tq.

installing a head with more flow will not necessarily increase your hp and might actually reduce it, mainly in the lower end of the rpm range.

Simple answer, not even close.

I'm pretty sure there are big bore kits you can get for it. I'd suggest looking into that.

thanks for all the advice fellas. yea there would be some heavy modding, might loose HP, and if there is a big bore kit I want it! but definitely in the future i will buy a 350x.

The 250ES/SX is a machine that doesn't lend itself easily or cheaply to performance upgrades..

Like the 200x/250r and so many others there are no easy ways to significantly enhance this machine.

But then..why would you want to?? They are so beautifully engineered and reliable as they are..tampering with this perfection will come with a cost!

Very good point .it rips pretty good as it is .250 es is a great machine never seizes to amaze me
