I'm not sure if this is someone's Tecate on the board or not? However I am watching it with great interest.
I have virtually the exact same machine (condition) that I posted on here a while back in the classifieds - was asking $3750, but was willing to move a little if necessary. Not one person was interested.
The point is that this auction might be a good indicator as to the market value (but maybe not too) - we'll see.
If any of you are bidding on this trike and happen to lose, give me a call and we can discuss a price. Or call me now and we can discuss a price! Mine is just sitting there waiting for a new home.

I hear ya. Unfortunately the market has dropped some in the last few years it seems. I would be surprised to see it go over $2750, maybe a bit less.

I bought my fenders from Chaplin, Kawasaki in Connecticut. The owner was really nice to me, and gave me a great deal on them. Anyway, I'm wondering what his reserve is.

These Tecate's (if you can find them) are going for big money on the East Coast, even the first generation machines.

They are advertised for big money but never sell. There was that pretty nice one in pa, i think the gut had it for sale for halg a year or more and was only asking 2500 for it. Everyone wants a 2nd gen tecate till its time to pull out the wallet. I sold my rider last spring for 1900 and considered muself very lucky.
