1981 husky 250 or

Just wondering if you guys could give me a value on this bike. It runs and ride great has a small dent on the right side of the tank and the gold on the forks is starting to wear off. Guy said he would sell it or trade for stuff. This is all I have on the bike. Any help is greatly appreciated. I would really like to own this piece of history.

Its a decade before my time but from what i hear those bikes use to be king back in the day. I would love to own or ride one. They look sweet too. Hope you get it and share some more info on it.

find out if it runs, what bore its on. if it runs I would offer 600 and work your way up to 800 if need be. nice find

I'm finding some unusual info out about this bike. The frame and forks are 82 xc250, the engine is an 80/81 or250 and the tank is from a wr250. The really weird thing is the guy has pics of when he bought it brand new and nothing has changed on it. So I have alot of digging to do. I really wish there was more info about these bikes on the internet. If anybody has any links to husky info I would really appreciate it. I have found a little bit on husky.com and thumpertalk but not much. I'm wondering if it wasn't put together with left over parts and sold that way. The wear on the bike is pretty even and the pics back up the dudes story.
