I love Public Enemy. I used to listen to them alot a long time ago when rap was way more political and way less dumbed-down. I do like Lupe Fiasco as far as current hip hop acts and fusion bands like Prophets of Rage (probably because Chuck D makes everything better)

He's super talented and I was told by a musician that Mark is considered a "musician's musician". He's really good. Most currently Mark has his own band and the name of it is "Tremonti".

Alter Bridge has been super moving for me and almost everyone I've shown them to has loved the music they make. Their most recent CD "The Last Hero" I'm not crazy about. It's really political and I don't think the singer's voice sounds as good as it used to. Everything I've heard produced before that is really good though with my favorite CD being "One Day Remains". A lot of their music gives me the chills.

For those who have never heard his octave range.....try listening to Beyond The Wheel. I prefer the remastered version on Telephantasm but the original version on Ultra Mega OK is equally mind blowing. Not many men can sing in 3 octaves and still sound like a badass in the process.

GREAT new band out of New Zealand. Alien Weaponry. Bunch of kids who are proud of their Maori heritage. Most of their songs are sung in the native Maori language. In a world of same old crap...THAT's certainly different. The whole album is certified badazz and very diverse. One minute you'd swear it was Sepultura and the next song you'd swear you were listening to Tool.

Go to Youtube and listen to Holding My Breath. Awesome song. I won't post the video here out of courtesy, there's a fair bit of nudity in it so censor yourself if have a mind to.

This song F'ing ROCKS!!! And it reeks of Lateralus by Tool.....and that's NEVER a bad thing. God knows Maynard never gives us anything new on a regular basis. No official Video as of yet. Song stands on it's own so who cares about a video.

Yup tool has been playing In my ears since opiate. Opiate, undertow and Aenima are my favorite albums. Perfect circle plays all the time as well. Eat the elephant, their new album is pretty sick. If you haven’t listened to it yet, feathers and eat the elephant (self titled track) are amazing. Never could quite get into puscifer unfortunately. Not heavy enough for me.
