250es NOS Ohtsus

I just got a full set back that i had traded off last year, whats the market for these? I saw in a post in the ebay/craigslist section that someone had 3 on ebay with a buy it now of $1200 but i find it hard to believe that someone would pay that much. Any input is appreciated.

But really, that is a sweet set of tires. I have no idea what they are worth.

That $1200 was a blowout. But really, Big Red Ohtsus are going to start blowing up now. The trikes themselves are skyrocketing, and they just don't look right with any other tire. I have a set myself I just bought....but I didn't pay anywhere NEAR 1200 lol. I wouldn't mind picking up another set as well. I have three sets of Ohtsus right now (4 with NOS tires). One set is junk really, daily rider material. The originals still have the red line and about 75% tread or more, and then I have another redline set that is close to that level. May sell the other good set...haven't decided.

I would say a NOS set on the low end would be $150-200 per tire and about 300-325 on the high end. But, throw them on eBay for 1200 and watch what happens....they aren't really being made anymore, just like the accessories that sell for thousands...

They would hold some really high trade value in my opinion. I know a couple guys that would probably trade a truck for those.

All these NOS parts being sold and traded makes me nervous. Once the NOS parts are gone the trikes themselves will reach a different level of rarity and the prices will skyrocket. Its already happening.
