I recently purchased an item that was $54.00 or best offer with free shipping in the US. Since I'm in Canada I contacted the seller for a shipping quote. They came back at $19.55. I then sent an offer of $45.00 with a note stating my offer was based on the extra shipping costs. They excepted my offer so I've now officially "bought this item". Excellent, that's what I wanted to happen. When I select "Pay Now" I get a warning that I need to change my shipping address or request a total change. I've contacted the seller three times in a week looking for them to adjust my total to include shipping, but so far nothing. Technically I'm out no money but I want the part; and I don't want my score tarnished. Thoughts?

If you tried contacting them through eBay I can't see how you could get negative feedback.

Did you try the (request total from seller) thing? Go to purchase history, on the right of your item below the pay now button, click on the (more actions) button, that option should be there. Once that's done you just have to wait for a new invoive and you can add a note to seller at the same time. I've been through this many times, if the item you bought didn't have a shipping price listed for canada ebay will block you, but the seller can fix that. Good luck!

I did perform the request a new total action with a note. I guess i need to be more patient.

Ya give em a little longer. I have seen sellers take a little longer with special requests ( pay changes, shipping changes) over just a straight simple BIN and ship etc. besides you have proof of your requests to them, eBay won't mess with you. If they opens case you have ammo against the seller.

This has been my worst eBay experience to date. The seller finally got back to me only after I called him in Texas. Seems like he was having "issues" trying to respond back to me. He sent me a bill direct through Paypal and I paid it immediately. Today I look and the add has magically disappeared? He tells me it's shipped; I asked for a tracking number, we'll see. This is NOT an International shipping issue I might add. My eBay score is 100% AT 93!
