but since I mentioned wanting to get a zinger for my lil ones in my build thread I figured I can put some of my stuff on the back burner to do this for my kids :) so after I get my brakes for the x from captain shes done for a bit so I can work on this ugly lil duckling I picked up today. traded a kx80 for it :) needs recoil fixed and not getting spark ill look at it tomorrow. here she is though I know she isn't pretty but I see things not for what they are but for what they will be.188218188219

What color is your Tri Zinger? I've been on the hunt for a red front fender! I currently have a yellow one on it now.

I bought one last month. I can't believe they sold these for kids. It's fast with my 280lbs on it! An absolute riot!
But, sooooo tiny. I'll flip/sell this one shortly.
I learned a lot about these in the past month.
In case you don't know, these have 2 ignition black boxes. One is the CDI. One is a start signal/rev limiter.
To get spark to start, they have to have the kill switch in the "start" position. The engine won't rev past about 2k. Once started, you switch to "run"to ride it.
You won't get spark in "run" until it's started.
If you bypass the rev limiter box, you can start it in "run".

Thanks I was wondering what the deal with the start and run was. I pinpointed the no spark problem. broken coil wire to plug. the flywheel has about an 1/8 inch of play so I think I am gonna split the case and put new crank bearings in also rear end is locked up solid atm not sure what the prob is but the axle is all rusted right into the rear end so im thinking bearings may be froze up. also gonna need rings. here is a couple pics.188331188332188333188334188335
