Removing spark arrestor from 1986 200x? Rejetting needed?

Looking at taking off the airbox lid and removing the spark arrestor on a 1986 200x. is rejetting needed? if so how much should I go up. Is it even worth doing it for the amount of power I would gain? ATC is 100% stock right now.

Do It go up 2 sizes on the main and 1 on the pilot and use your butt dyno to check the results

Anytime airflow is increased, you'll need more fuel.

Make 1 change at a time and write it down.

Start off rich and check the plug each time.

Good gains with an open air box lid and a better flowing exhaust.
