Which way does the little arrow point on air intake tube?

Apparently the rubber tube will fit either way
and 1/2 of mine point towards the carb and the
other half point towards the airbox.
I just hate to see them crack from the wrong stress.

I'm not even sure what you are talking about. but any arrow would indicate the direction of flow i.e. arrow towards carb.

I had a feeling there was some industry standard like
gas valves always shut off perpendicular to flow.

Yeah, tiny arrow on the rubber intake tube that I just recently noticed
after all these years.
Maybe I need something real to worry about but we've been flooding lately
and running trikes almost up to the seats.

Like it says I posted around 11pm pacific time and it was really like midnight.

GF already gives me a hard time for being on here at odd hrs.

My computer says 3:34am, but it's only 2:34 as we don't change time for another 2 weeks. Normaly we're at CST. Time for me to get to sleep!
