I ran across a documentary last night on 350x's. The host kept hinting that if Honda had put the 350x engine in a 85-86 250r frame that it would have been the start of the thumper revolution. Got me thinking. Now I'm curious if anyone has ever done that and what the result was. Every once in a while a 85-86 250r rolling chassis comes up for sale locally and I was considering picking one up and trying it. I realize there would be some modifications needed to make it work. I was just wandering if anyone had done it?
