86 200x Toolbox

Looking for a toolbox for my 86 200x. I can get one that says it is off of an 86 250sx. From the picture I have It looks just like the one off of a 200x but I just want to be sure that at least the bolt holes line up.

Ok sorry I think that I read your post wrong the first time round. I thought you were looking for a box.
You will have to take A measurement, or rather have someone else do it who has the bike, of the distance between the holes on an SX box. Then measure up to your 200x grab bar and compare.

No prob. I worded it wrong i think. I am needing a toolbox, for my restoration, but I was specifically asking about this one I see on Ebay from an 250SX. I was just wondering if it would fit before I bought it.

Update: Actually after looking closer at some more pictures of 200x's, the one one Ebay is not the exact same shape. I was looking for a genuine 86 200x box and I figured they made them to fit several other bikes.

I may be wrong but from what I can tell on my 1987 ATC 200x toolbox looks the same as the 86 atc 250r. Also not many changes between 86 & 87 atc 200x besides color differences

According to service Honda microfiche. They are both the same atc 200x and atc 250r and are still sold brand new 83500-vm6-680
