Recommendations for 85' BR 250ES...

I'm looking to purchase an exhaust, set of tires, and a set of handlebars. Anyone have any suggestions for any of these? I put a set of Kenda Klaws on my 200ES and they look great. But, I was thinking of possibly something different for my 250ES. As for the exhaust, I see some guys have some on Ebay that look like original but they are new. I was thinking of maybe something a bit newer looking or more aggressive looking. Handlebars, well, sort of the same instead of the original look. Any thoughts? Any pics of what you may have? I'm not looking to reinvent the wheel so if anyone doesn't mind sharing some of what they have, I'd love to take a look and even put the same on my ride. Thanks.

I have an 85 sx -basically the same bike- however I built it custom for the trails 200x front end swap etc. However I do have renthal fat bars on mine and I looove them. As to tires I have a kenda up front and scorpions in the rear but again I don't think those would go well on a "tractor" like a red. What exactly are you looking to do with the machine? Are you looking for a performance trail bike? As to exhaust I have a supertrapp but I don't think there are many options for the red but I think if you could find a sx supertrapp it would fit? Love that sound

My favourite mod for the 250ES is the rims and tires.

On that answer I'll refer back to the time you asked that same question 6 months ago.

Bars are a matter of personal preference. The shape depends on rider height, arm length and riding style. I'm extremely picky about bars, others aren't, therefore I would not use someone else's recommendations in this area.

Here's dozens of bars with exact dimensions. I suggest you determine what you do not like about yours then estimate what you think might be a bit better. Don't worry about width because they can be easily shortened.

Looking to ride mainly on trails but also a few ATV parks that allow trikes. I had a Supertrapp Exhaust for my SX that I never put on because I wound up selling the trike. Then, I sold the exhaust. Had I known... Thanks for the help.

I appreciate it, once again. Did you ever see the outcome of my 200es with the Bear Claws on it? I definitely took your advice and put them on. I love it and I think it looks great! Just my opinion. I like the Sharks on yours and have been considering those but I'm having trouble finding them. Any idea as to wear I can look? Maybe I'm just looking in the wrong place.

These Mud Sharks are a discontinued line now..

I lucked out and bought 4 from a local retired bike racer..he had them in the back of his garage from back in the day when his sponsors used to give him tires to display.
