Tri zinger esc?

Ok so I bought a new cylinder, new coil, and new recoil for my tri zinger but still no spark. I tested the tether kill and it works then I was just looking at the wiring diagram and found out there is supposed to be an engine speed controller. that would explain the extra wiring harness and the black and white wire I have that don't go to anything. my question is :Would that cause my spark issue being that it is missing?

the 84 85 yt60 i converted to quad has a start circuit that limits RPM and a run circuit the handlebar switch has two different settings have downloaded manual that might explain it better than i can if we can figure out out how to send it but i think it only cost me like .99 from tradebit if my memory serves me correct good luck and let me know if if i can sort thru what i have to help you!!!
