Didn't all '86 250R's get the flat slide carb? I thought that was one of the differences between the 85 and 86.

I don't know much about 250R`s so I was hoping someone would enlighten me if it was stock offering or a factory upgrade
to some guys sport trike= "racing" moniker before everything
"RARE OEM HONDA RACING" sounded like a slight exaggeration so that's why I asked
EDIT: a quick search says yes, that yr got a flatslide carb
the ad is mostly hype I guess

Yes the 86 came with a flat slide from the factory but not the one in that auction . It looks like a Mikuni carb, and not a Keihin. I suppose it could have been an add on, but I highly doubt it is a factory race carb.
Based on the ad description the seller is just trying to get in as many keywords rather than verify its authentic.
