ok guys ive been wanting a extended swing arm for my 310r for a long time. i found this 86 trx +12 swinger on ebay and want you guys opinion. i keep hearing you have to do modifications to the rear brake. how much mods does it take? and is this swing arm worth the $? also is there a better route i should take?

Yeah, a 12" swinger would make your trike a drag-only bike. Your handlebars would become "suggestion" bars. Consider your typical mx swinger back in the day was +2. I wouldn't go beyond a +2 if you want to keep it an all-around machine.

drag racing is 99 percent of my riding on this bike. im pretty much on my bigred for everything else
Plus 4-6 is more than enough.
Did you finally get it running right? What was the cure?

also it was highly recommended to me to get rid of my air box and run a uni filter off the back of the carb. i know the stock 250r air filter isnt even close to fitting the back of the carb. does anyone have a part number of a uni filter that will clamp the the carb?
