Old school conversion or a home made death trap? I was at the scrap yard looking to score some cheap parts or a new project. I asked if he had any atv's, he said yea but they are picked pretty clean and only a couple. Well there was about 10 and 80% of them were early Yamaha Moto-4's (Which i will be back for parts for my 225's). Anywho he says he has this motorcycle someone made into one and he said come take a look and let me in for free as it was only a quick look around.

I didnt have much time to go in depth and look it over and cameras were not allowed but i managed.

I agree. Wouldn't touch it. Interesting to see what some people did back in the day tho. Creative to say the least.

It needs a little more investigation for sure. Rear swing arm looks kind of home made, but I've seen way worse that people were pretty proud of.

that's a KLT250 rear axle with the diff AND its a death trap

First one looks like maybe an XS400? Other then being too narrow, it looks well built to me.

The "champ" looks like a turd.

Its WAS a late 70's Yamaha Champ -80cc----(the yellow one)

It must have had some pretty good power back in the day. Those look like wore out trail pros to me...
