Front End Handling Q?

I'm fixing to do the 1st gen 250r fork swap on 185s. The back tires will be dropped down to 18x10-8 turf tamers. So what I want to know is if I change the front tire from 22x11-8 to a 18x9.5-8 tire will that keep the handling the same, improve, or hurt it? I guess I'm going on the theory that a skinnier tire will give it more responsiveness.

Also what about a 20x9-8 tire? And what would that do. I just know the handling of the 22x11-8 size tires ain't the best.

I used a 20x7-8 tire on a 6x8 rim using a 200x tree ! I also used a 200xhub turned down to fit the wheel made the bolt circle 4x110 !

Is their anyway you can post or pm me a picture of the 200x tree on the 185s frame? I'm just wondering about how much the 200x raises the front of the bike compared to the 250r.
