My brake is dragging on my 86 200x. I had the axle out to change the bearings and when I put it back together it did that. It's not too bad. Still rolls ok. Also how do you bleed the front brake? I've tried but I haven't gotten it to work.

If it's draggin the 2 slide pins (esp. the allen head one) get seized and the caliper cannot float.

Bleeding - I use a Mighty Vac but use to use a Veterinarians big syringe and it worked well. Force fluid in or draw it out........

Try the caliper pins first like DC says, but if that doesn't help then you probably just need to replace the piston seals. The piston retracts ever so slightly after you squeeze the brakes so that it releases the disc cleanly. Old seals get stiff and sticky and don't pull the piston back like they should.

Tips for bleeding the front brakes: I usually find some trapped air at the mater cylinder when holding the master perfectly level. If you turn the bars to the left side, it will tip the master cylinder a bit and let the air bubble up and out. You'll need to repeatedly lightly squeeze the front brake lever a bit with the bars turned to get the air out. Obviously, don't have the master 100% full when doing this to avoid a spill.
