Hi fellas, I just bought a 200x, first of all how would I know if its an 86 or 87? it 6 speed so its not an 85 or nothing, the frame is some square tubing and round, does this mean anything? Also, I have a problem, it runs fine, so no wiring problems in that effect, but my light doesnt work, now it is plugged in, the bulb is good, the kill switch works, so you would think the light switch would too, but oddly enough there are 3 wires hanging right by the light, they are femlae plugs i believe, stock plugs, nothing rigged, does anyonje have a wiring diagram that could possible help me? Ive seen one for an 85, are they the same? well thanks for all the help and by the way bad ass site you all got here, its been a huge help already, I appreciate any help, thanks again.

Check the ground before you go too far into it. Its pretty common.

If it's a 6 speed then it's an '86 or '87. If it says 200x on the tank, it's an '87 (unless someone dressed it up like that)

ONLY 86-87 used square stock tubing for the frame, not near as many after market parts for 86-87 :( but alot better than 83-85's
