Was planning on bringing my family to the Dilla, but my truck blew out it's rear end and I need to get her back together ASAP. Wife starts a new job monday and we require 2 running vehicles again.

But I should see you at Mike's! :beer

Are the quads racing at the same event? That would be an awesome track to ride...

I have not talked to the TPC camp in sometime but my assumption would be they are saving their wad for the Ashtabula Tt race upcoming this weekend.

I say a major FFF yeah to the trike people that made this Unidilla Race. IMO it is the next major stepping stone in the resurgence of trike racing that began some almost 10 years ago.
It is no surprise to me of young MR Hall's performance. He has always been a force to be reckoned with.
Congrats to that young man.

As a side note.....
Personally I think it would be in best interests to find a resolution or plural if you will , why these events are subdued so to speak on the forums. Many people do not have facebook and I think it is in everyone's best interest to really make a press to get more coverage of this stuff right on the forums.

That was great! I think there were more trikes at that track than there were at our provincial tracks in the mid 80's. I sure hope that picks up and keeps going.

I couldn't help but watch the guy in last place and think to myself "If I was in that race that would have been the guy in front of me"

I fear he may need a wardrobe consultant before the big sponsors pick him up.

You guys had to be there!! This was awesome; We walked that track and measured the jumps and the elevation changes and it had us huffing and panting, not both the Track Star and Trike Star of Jacob Hall, lol!!

We had a blast and the guys that made this happen as well as came there for support and the riders not making fools of themselves on this PRO MX track. Unbelievable...

EDIT - I think it was 37$ for all 3 days and that included camping.

Isn't that what a sponsor Is for? The kid is a savant in anything he wants to put his mind to. I am willing to bet he would be offered a ride if he were on 4 wheels.

Ben, if we ever meet up I'll tell you about two of the best racers I've ever seen that you've never heard of. One was passed over because he couldn't put a sentence together in front of a camera and the other had wardrobe issues (amongst other things). Knowing what I do of these two I can't help but wonder what kind of talent gets passed over. I wish nothing but the best for the kid... even if he ends up on a quad.

The fact that he is younger than I am and is out there busting his ass on a 30 year old machine is mind blowing to me.

Ha ha, the pic of Jacob in shorts was taken as we were getting in the truck to leave!! Freekin Raffa!! Lol. He was soaked and covered with mud. He stripped all his muddy cloths off and put on the only dry cloths he had. We got DUMPED on with Rain!! He got a TERRIBLE Holeshot, and had to battle back from 6th place in the pouring rain. Roost was like riding into a Sand blaster full of pea stone.. They cut 1 lap off of the main on almost every moto on Sunday. To say I'm proud is a Understatement.. I wore out the phrase BE SMART so bad with him he was ready to bury my head in the Mud!! Lol.. I have to hold this kid back for his own protection LOL,, and For a 17 year old kid to use his head and not push the issue was amazing. Jacob had Very little Time to make up a huge lead that Greg Huntley (great guy, and Racer by the way) had, It was SOO surprising to me as I know Jacob was very concerned he would run out of time. Nerve racking for a parent, I had such a good time, but WOW I'm glad it's over and we are home safe and sound!!

Balls as big as church bells, all of you guys. I wouldn't even attempt a track like that just playing around, let alone racing. I'll stick to the flat stuff.

Kudos to all:beer:beer
