I would like to put lights on my son's ATC 70. Would I have to replace the existing ignition coil with one from another bike? Which coil/stator would be the best to use from another ATC and does anyone have a good set up in doing this? Thanks for any advice/help?

Depending on the Year of your 70 you may have the correct stator. I am told the the Older 70's used the same stator as a Trail70. I'm not sure of the cut off year for the stator though. Knowing this You might look into a CT70 wiring set up for lights. ;)

My Atc 70 Have Extra Wires Coming Out From The Startor...They Are For Lights....I Think You Could Use The Light From An Atc 90.
There's An Site That Sells Light Housing & Brakets For This Bikes.
I'm Sure You Won't Have To replace The Strator., I Check If You Have Those Extra Wires Coming From Yours
