So me and others are on the search for a vintage dirtbike forum.
I picked up my 83 rm125 expecting it to be just as easy if not easier as finding trike parts from the same time period. Well I was wrong.

I know there is blasterforums, banshee ones, we have 3ww, there has to be one out there for them.
I figured someone here has to know of one.

If not anyone wanna make one? ;) ;) ;)
I have like 8-10 years of vBull and general forum and coding experience.
(That's mostly a joke though, I don't got time for that)

I ran into the same problem when I had owned that 1984 CR250 and never found a forums for classic bikes.

I wonder if the domain name "2wheelerworld" is available.
Because it's looking as if there is no such forum for vintage bikes.

Billy, want a new project? Haha, I'll help.

Thumpertalk's vintage section is generally fairly busy, but most fully vintage forums are attached to VMX racing clubs. The early 80s RM water pumpers are hot topics on TT!

I seen that but no offense it looks pretty generic. Low members, not visually appealing or professional, you have to email the owner to activate your account, but hey I guess it's what I'll have to use.

Get on FB, as much as I hate to say it, Im part of a good 10 groups for vintage racing, restoration, and more racing. Found most of my parts for my 83 CR250 on there.

Vintage MX Canada
Old School Motocross
Vintage MX Dirt Bikes
The World of Vintage and Custom MX
2 Stroke Smoke
Vintage Offroad Motorcycle Market

Etc, Etc

Yea I'm on a few. I was just hoping there was a forum, a bit more organized and controlled. I'm just kinda iffy on buying parts on Facebook. But I guess if it's a good established group.

when you are into vintage dirtbikes you need to print out schematics online of all the parts, then ebay the part numbers....so much is out there that way no one knows what it is unless part number.

my 84 KX is a orphan year for a lot of parts but you find what cross refferances and swaps out and you keep going. 50% of your bikes parts you don't even need to use you can use other items.

DC plastics makes all the old crap and I have some on my bike.

www.partzilla.com is your friend. Besides that if you don't know anything buy a manual

Cool, this should help because I'm also thinking of getting a jr50 from the 70s. It's in really good condition.
