trans gears question

Buddy has an 84 125M.. 2nd gear is blown!

I have a 185 transmission.. will the gears swap over?

not positive but I doubt they will, as if you look at the motor styles the 185 is an upright with a different size gear case than the lay-down motors of the 70, 90, 110, 125.
