250r Coolhead question

Do these things really help cool your Engine? I have a chance to pick up a new Duncan Powerhead with stay, dome and shell for about 100 bucks. Anybody here have any luck with these?

Nice head...not because it keeps it cool, but the domes offer flexibility for different compression ratios and fuel uses...if you don't need it for that reason, save your $100 bucks imo.

^ +1. Like stated, cool because of the flexibility of the domes, but they don't run any cooler.
