cdi box question

guys,i have an 85 bigred but bought a 86 cdi box thinking it was the wright one,but its not.


its has 2 plugs and the 85 has one.

is there any way to make the 86 work? cause i cant find a new 85 cdi box.all are used and says not tested.

the only way you can use the 86-87 cdi is to change your wiring harness. i'm sure there are plenty of guys on here that have 1985 cdi's. i have 5 or 6 of them all working. i'm in Canada and shipping one would be $$
