Just bought a nice original grab bar and toolbox for my trike. I have looked at several pictures(mostly from here) and I can't seem to figure out how it all goes together. Even the Honda diagrams are a bit vague. I think I am missing some bolts/washers. When I got it it was missing all this and it looks like someone cobbled an older grab bar to make it fit. I just want it all original down to every proper size nut/washer/bolt.
Could some please post a picture of the layout of the order of everything with all the proper hardware as it goes together so I can figure out what I am missing.
Video would be awesome but is asking for too much, lol.
* I know I am missing the mounting collar for the tool box holes so far.
thanks anyone who responds...

One is for how the brackets are attached and the other two are from the 86 service manual..the rest you check on the partzilla fiche as far as the hardware.
Edit: sorry about the inverted pics I was in the middle of a breaking bad marathon with the wife heh.

Thanks Charlie for responding. Any help is greatly appreciated. Actually that was one of the pics i was looking i believe. I have the service manual in pdf and it doesn't do much good. I posted the pic I have the questions about.

I guess I need to know how 9 mounts and the bracket 8,10 is mounted.
From what I can tell I don't have 7 and 1 and all right mounting bolts. where does 1 go?
* haven't watched breaking bad yet. will start that soon....

These may help. The bolt with the washers on it is incorrect, but you get the idea. #1 is a spacer that goes in the grommet on the grab bar.

Ok now its all kinda making sense. I just don't have the #7 collars and the spacer. I guess I don't need the collars but I want to keep it all original and Honda put them there for a reason. The #9 piece just hangs there and supports it all..i get it now.
I also need the right length bolts to mount all of it. Looks like a trip to the hardware store. I know you can get the collars still from Honda anyone happen to have a couple to sell cheap? They're not too expensive but I hate paying 20.00 to ship 5.00 worth of parts..
thanks tx200m. It really helps when it is all laid out like you did. much obliged!!

You can still get 95% of the hardware oem..use Partzilla for better shipping prices..or even search Ebay by the part # your looking for. On the item list it will tell your bolt sizes ect on there as well if you do go the hardware store route.
