Anyone ever try swapping the stock plastics of their trike for the stock plastics of another trike or even a quad?

I wonder if tri z plastics would fit on my 225DXN? or maybe the plastics off the YTM 200? (they have nice rounded rear fenders)
the problem is, the only other person I know with a trike has a 250R and those don't look like they'd fit at all!

they don't need to be a direct bolt on fit but maybe with just a little modification or re drilling bolt holes or cutting out some parts that keep it from sitting perfectly.

Anyone??

200 are not a direct swap for the 225 I have both, also the seat on the 200 is bolted to the fenders whereas the 225 has a removable seat., and the triz will require quite a bit of modifications as well to make work

I believe it's warrior rear fenders and 350x front?

:p:pTimberwolf rear fenders/tank plastics are a direct swap....because they are identical :P

agree on the warrior rear fenders no doubt there, but the timberwolf tank plastics only came up with a whole piece not 2 individuals

do you think the 200's will fit without too much of a mod? and will it match up to the side plastics of the 225?

Hey Ghost, is this a members trike or just something from the internet? I wonder what they did to get those fenders to fit...

Facebook, I could ask. I asked before and he said you just need to cut out the battery box area and it bolts up if I remember right.

And some krylon fusion for plastic should make them yellow. Or get them dipped.

with the ytm 200 fenders you are going to have to pop new holes do some cutting, and I'm not certain but I don't believe the tank plastics will match up. You will aslo need to cut so that the seat will latch down as the latch goes through the plastics, so yes lots of modding for the 200 plastics.

shoot. I hate that word "Lots" when it pertains to modding or work... or money I have to shell out! lol

I'll get some pics for you this weekend so you can see the differences, and you can decide for yourself. I was going to do this change at one time, but came across a set of fenders for my dx instead.

You guys are right, the timberwolf/4moto tankshrouds are different towards the front, just the sides are the same.
If warrior fenders are a good fit then blasters should fit also.

here you go let me know if you would like more detailed pics, this should give you and idea of roughly how much work you are going to need to do. It's not impossible but it's still going to require alot of work.200651200652200653

do you already have a set of 2oo plastics? if not I would go after some warrior plastics. Less work and they look sportier. I guess it all depends on what you can get cheaper and easier.
