View Full Version : ATC 200s vs 200es tires.

Hey all,

I have a honda 200es and just put Carlisle HD Field Trax 25x13-9 tires on it. My brother has an 82' 200s and needs tires. He really likes the look of the HD Field Trax and wants to know if they will fit on his 200s. Will any tire that fits on a 200 es fit on a 200s and not rub? Any help would be appreciated!

BTW I am talking will they fit OK under the plastics, I do know the 200s and 200es have the same size stock tire and rim. But these mentioned Carlisle's have a wider and taller footprint.

Correct me if I'm wrong but my 200e has 25x12-9 stock and the dry rotted stock Dunlops that came with my 200s are 22x11-8. Far from the same size...

25's are only 1.5 inches closer to the fenders in theory, but tires often measure up different (from what is marked on the sidewall) after they are mounted on a rim and inflated. Don't forget that you need the 9 inch rims and the bigger hubs that the 25 inch tires use.

I think that depends what year 200s you have. My brother's 200s is an 1982 and I know for a fact it has 25x12-9 for all 3 tires. I say fact because we took one of my old slghtly less worn tires from my 200es and put it on his rim.

The 200s was produced 1984-86.
What you are referring to is a plane jane ATC200. Which yes, has the larger tires. But ALL the 200s' had 22" tires.
