84 250r kill switch help

So awhile ago I bought a single wire kill switch for my 250r and I tried messing with it once but i could just never figure out where to wire it to. So I always just chocked it to kill it (which I really don't like doing) but anyway if someone can tell me where to wire it to It would be greatly appriciated!

Run it to the black wire off the coil .
