85 250r. 88case?

I think I have finally found a case for my 85 250r. its off an 88 trx 250r. I believe the cases are the same but not a 100%. the guy wants 50bucks for it. only issue with it is the casesaver mounts are damaged. is there any way to fix them and does the 88 case even work?

Yes, the 86-89 TRX 250R cases will work for your 85 ATC 250R. The case saver mounts should be able to be repaired, but that all depends on how badly damaged they are, and how you plan on going about the repair.
