will a 86 tecate 3 motor work in a 88 tecate 4 frame?

As for as i know Yes it will.

I think it will, but the 86/87 tectate's didnt have a counterbalancer (I think), so you are going to have more vibration, because the 88 tecate's were counterbalanced.
