:beer Awesome site you've got going here dudes.
I first came in contact with the mighty trike when asked to remove an old ATC 200Es that had been dumped over a bank & was leaking petrol & oil into a friends garden. I dragged it out with my truck, threw it in the garage & never touched it for another year or more. Then the day came that the garage had to be cleaned out so I put some fuel in the beast, yanked the pull start twice & the bloody thing burst into life. I was gob smacked!! I then brought another ES off an auction site dirt cheap for parts. Then I spotted a 200x which has joined the fleet.
So from doing a favour for a friend by getting rid of an old piece of junk, I'm now busting to get the three trikes sorted out & do some riding in our rapidly approaching summer along with some trout fishing in our amazing outdoors.
I'm currently recovering from a broken shoulder blade after coming a big gutser on a back country ride when I hit some ice on a bridge. Luckily my trusty 09 DRZ 400E only suffered a busted clutch cable & cosmetic scratches more than can be said for my ageing 48 year old carcass.
I will make sure I post some pics of the trike trio.
One question I do have is about the 200x. The frame number is JH3TB0522EK307 which when I checked on your site said the trike was a 1984 200x. The engine number beside the front sprocket is MD10E-5000800 which doesn't seem to line up with anything. Can any of you gurus out there shine some light on this for me?
Thanks guys :wondering:confused::lol:

Welcome to the madness. It always starts with one. They multiply like rabbits - especially the 70s for some reason.

Can't tell you anything about the EIN.

Thanks. I realise the engine number wont match the frame number but the engine number doesn't match any of the 200x range of engine numbers or any Honda engine numbers I have searched all over the web.

Thanks. My other half has mentioned the multiplication factor a number of times with phrases like "how are you going to ride 3 trikes as well as the DRZ"???? I daren't mention the quantity of her shoes stacked in the cupboards........

Clearly a wise man!

That EIN is weird.

OK, my info was less detailed than I remembered, but here's what I know. All the 200x engine #'s start with TB05, Xr185's start with ME, XL185's start with MD or L185- depending on year, XL200's start MD06, so it sounds like you might have some cases from some sort of XL bike engine.

Well done with the Kaiora but not to sure about Cartmans arse :w00t: It's good to feel welcome & to be among the trikeminded. Just having a bit of bother getting pics done on the 200x engine at the moment as I am trying to get my garage / home workshop organised so I can actually get some work done on the trikes. Getting parts away over here can be costly business as we don't have the population & with Aussie being our nearest bigger neighbour they are not that much bigger or cheaper to ship from than the states.
I did manage to score a bucket load of ATC parts at a swap meet on Sunday. $20 for a wiring harness including ignition, headlight, CDI unit & all the left handle bar switchgear.
Ka kite ano (see you again)
