200S recoil starter cable

So I bought a recoil starter assembly for my 1985 ATC200S, and it's got this cable sticking out of it and I have no idea where it's supposed to connect to. Anyone have any ideas?

Connects to the right side top of the cylinder head were their is a decompression lever .
