hey all, well ive finally gotten my hands on a 250r. its an 86 and in very rough shape. luckily i got it on the cheap. ive never been around these as i have only built my 350x which was a task in itself. i know the frame is in rough shape but my biggest concern is the part of the frame where the tank mounts. ive attached a pic from the back looking forward. it seems as though the frame shoots off to the left and im pretty sure its not suppose to be this way. could anyone verify this for me. also, some yahoos decided to put a later model cr motor in it and hacked off the upper motor mounts off the frame. is this something someone may have that i could reattach? thanks for any input.

The down tube is definitely supposed to straight.

Ya that's kinda what I was thinking. Is there anyone local to nh with a frame they are looking to sell?

By the way that is a nice rear fender you have there! That is a low pro fender they are tough to get a hold of, hopefully your is in good shape. You may consider selling fender to a member to offset money you will need for your build good luck, and good to see people rebuilding these machines.
