'83 Motor in a '80 ATC110

Is this a compatible match? What kinds of trouble will I run into? Thanks.

83 is cdi. 80 is a points motor year. You'd have to change the wire harness and coil to cdi also.

The coil from the 83 will require a little modication to fit the 1980 frame. Otherwise just make sure you use the right harness as mentioned above and you'll be good to go.
