Hello all. Working on a trade for this trike and can't tell what model. Owner believes it to be an 86 200cc. It looks different than the 200 I used to have with the narrow front tire. Any ideas? 207003207004

would easier to tell with more pics (hint look for the vin tag) but it appears to be a 200e with 200x forks

I am thinking 82 Big Red, with 200x frontend.

200e sounds feasible. It has low range but no reverse. The front forks were really throwing me off. Any issues you guys know of with adding 200x forks to this.

See if there's any slop in the steering stem bearings. Hold the handle bars and shake them side to side while looking at the stem area.
I have a first gen R that had 200x forks on it. They didn't use the right bearings and it began to wear a nice slice in the stem.

Owner said it was a 200e. Has only had it a couple months. It's a couple hours away for me to look at. May take a chance on it. I would prefer everything be original. Any market for trading 200x forks for original 200e?

I would think if every thing is done right, that 200x frontend would be a good thing. A lot more travel in the forks and a disc brake set up.

True, I didn't think about the disc brakes. Still hard for me to get used to the narrow tire.

the narrow tire will bite better thats all, shouldnt be hard to get used to. 200x front end is upgrade trust me you dont want the 200e front end

200e with a 200s front end looks like.
well I take that back, it is a 200x front on it. I build one for us in the woods but used a 250sx front.
