There isn't any broke wires that I've noticed. TIA for any and all help.

Is there a keyed ignition switch?

No there isn't a key just the start button.

You need a test light or volt meter to test the circuit. Check for a blown fuse, verify that you have a good ground connection.
After that check for power at the switch, if none found trace the wire back to the battery, by checking for power at the next wiring connection.

Test light volt meter use the meter and ohm all the circuits to make sure there complete if u can't find a break any where find the starter relay and cross it with a screw diver and see if it spins the starter to rule out it being bad or not

You need an ignition switch to use the electric start. Without the switch fire isn't getting to the starter button on the left handle. I know what wires to connect on Honda trikes but have never done it for my Yamaha. There should be 3 or 4 wires that would connect to the ignition switch. 1 is hot, 1 is ground, 1 runs your left hand switch, and if there is a fourth I cant remember what it does. Connect your hot to the left hand panel wire and you should have fire. When you are done riding don't leave it connected as it will drain your battery.
