200x once it starts won't go into gear

I have a 1985 200x I believe that's the year I had this bike for probably 5 years and never road it I got it on a very good deal and bought it with a problem the bike goes into gear fine when not running once i pop start the bike I can not get it to go back in gear work anything I am lost anyone else have this problem please help thanks

Id pull the right side cover and inspect the clutch and then go from there.

Long time ago if I rememebr right someone told me I had bent shift forks on the inside does that sound right and how hard is it to change if u know how I'm very mechanically inclined so that part shouldn't be a problem to much

Well the forks sounds like they would do it and inspect the clutch like 86125m said

Has anyone adjusted the clutch?
so? when it does start, it's like it's stuck in gear?
and the clutch does nothing?

I'm going to have to put the clutch back on I took it off about 3 years ago last time I worked on it im hopin to get it back on tomorrow when I think ill be off work but I wasn't ever stuck in gear it won't go back into gear after I pop start it and it starts it kicks it to nuetral and it won't go back into gear at all
