Hello again
I just bought an '85 250R and would like a heads up on how tough of a job this is going to be. The kicker only catches every third or fourth attempt and it needs fixing. I have ordered the new spindle assembly and the shop manual and will try the swap next week.
It looks like I will have to pull the entire right side of the case off to get to it. Can anyone fill me in on how many cans of worms I will be opening (water pump, etc...) when I pull the cover off? I'm pretty handy with tools, but I have never opened one of these up. Thanks in advance for the info.
