Ive got a chinese 150cc dirt bike sometimes it will fire up and run the next day it may not hit a lick it has a new stator and the stator is working could it be the cdi? Or what. So can someone please help point me in the right direction any help would be greatly appreciated. Jesse

My experience with the chinese stuff is the safety switches. I have bypassed most of them.

The_steve_man could u possibly tell me where I might find any of the safety switches? I have racked my brain with this bike, it does run but it might run good today and tomorrow it might be dead in the water if it helps the bike is a 2005 flywing 150cc. any help is always appreciated thanks, Jesse

I don't know about the dirt bikes, but the 4 wheelers have a pull cord in the back and brake switch. Along with a on off and a key switch. I bypassed the pull cord and later I had problems and bypassed the brake switch. It also has a fuse I havent had any problems with that.

Yes there is a tether on the back. That is usually the first problem

Ok thanks man I just read an article that said the middle wire on the cdi the white wire with black stripe kills all safety switches on the Chinese stuff if you disconnect it maybe this will help you out later on
