I bought a 200X last nite and this is on the rear caliper. The caliper isn't for a X and I'm not sure what it's from? Any ideas?

Was that the auto-x on CL? No idea what that is, but looks like it belongs to the caliper it's on.

Yea that's the bike. It runs like a champ but it needs some love. The picture did it justice. It's had a aerosol overhaul lol

Boost bottle for your breaks lol.
It almost looks like a knob at the end you can adjust? Can you spin that?

We were talking about it, it almost looks like a valve that would be on a shock that you could use to ajust rebound with. There is no real marks on it that would help tell us what it was that we could see
Is the end splined? Does it move, twist? If it does its prob some type of fluid lock parking brake.. maybe.. lmao

I'm pretty sure it is a component from an anti-lock brake system. I have a GY6 scooter that has one of them on the front and rear disc brakes.

It does have a knob on the end that looks like a adjuster for something?? Maybe it is some kind of anti-lock device?? I kind of wondered about it being a line lock but wasn't sure?? Lol its different what ever it is. I was hoping it was a super rare part from back in the day but my luck never goes that way lol!

My bet is that the caliper originally resided on a Chinese atv...

That's probley why they don't work very well! It knew you were going to try and slide it around, that's a SAFETY feature Lol

The one on the rear disc of my scooter locks up as soon as the rear brake is activated. At least now I know it can be fixed. I didn't know what the thing was either, until kiser posted the pic, and I remembered seeing them on my 150cc scooter. Thanks, kiser!

I wonder if the generator can run heated hand grips?
On a serious note how do they work? Ive been on the side of pine straw covered hills where this would've come in real handy.
